Hey, there, outdoor folks, The list of ski areas making snow now includes Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Vail, Beaver Creek, Winter Park, Eldora and Steamboat. Weather forecasts indicate there will be good snowmaking conditions for the next few nights, and weather next week may be conducive for around-the-clock snowmaking. I'm thinking about working in a Summit County hike tomorrow on my way to Glenwood Springs, and I'm wondering if I'll be trekking in fresh snowfall. I'd be fine with that, actually. Heads upThe metro area will see high temperatures ranging from the low 60s to near 70 this weekend with a slight chance
of showers on Friday morning. Highs in Winter Park, Vail and Breckenridge will be in the low 40s on Saturday and the upper 30s on Sunday. Rocky Mountain National Park will see high temperatures in the 40s Friday through Sunday with lows near 30 degrees.
