ORIGINAL WORKS ONLINE GALLERY IS LIVE!

The Original Works online gallery is now LIVE, showcasing your child’s one-of-a-kind artwork! A brochure came home last week with your child, telling you how to log into the live gallery. This is your chance to turn your child’s creativity into memorable, lasting holiday gifts or keepsakes — mugs, magnets, totes, ornaments, and more.

Every purchase celebrates your child’s creativity and supports our school. Look at the brochure for ordering instructions, and don’t wait! Orders are due by November 18th!

Questions? Email Katherine Deason at kndeason@gmail.com or Selyn Hong at selynhong@gmail.com.

DEI COMMITTEE SAVE THE DATE: NOVEMBER 17TH

We’d love for you to join us for our first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee meeting this school year on November 17 at 7:00 p.m. at
Erin Tanenbaum’s house.

Our DEI Committee works to make sure every Wolftrap family feels welcome, represented, and included in our school community. We help ensure PTA activities are accessible and equitable for all, and find ways to bring our community closer together through understanding and inclusion.

Each meeting also ends with an open discussion, where attendees can share experiences, ask questions, and seek support from one another as we navigate the joys and challenges of raising children in today’s world. It’s a safe, welcoming space where all voices are heard and valued.

Whether you’ve been involved before or are just curious, we’d love for you to come, listen, and join the conversation — the more voices, the better!

Please RSVP to dei@wolftrappta.org for the address.

VETERANS DAY CEREMONY HIGHLIGHTS

Wolftrap's annual Veterans Day event started off in the cafeteria with donuts and coffee for military families, on Monday morning. Over 65 students and their family members were in attendance!

The assembly, held in the school gym, started with the Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts flag ceremony. Sixth graders had a wonderful performance, to included singing the songs from each of the military branches, and reading various poems. Mr. Little's dad, Colonel Little, was the guest speaker. He gave  a wonderful talk about leadership in the military students.

A special thank you to Ms. Azita Behdad (Wolftrap's family liaison) for organizing the assembly, and to Emmanouel Lee and the military appreciation committee for all of their hard work!
