Samsung has unveiled its Vision AI Companion, an advanced AI assistant integrated into its 2025 TV models. This feature allows users to engage in natural, two-way conversations with their TVs, such as asking AI about a person in a TV program. The AI, developed in partnership with Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, goes beyond standard voice commands, supporting 10 languages and offering capabilities like art generation and live translation.

Apple is planning to introduce new satellite-based features for iPhones to improve functionality in areas with weak or no cellular or Wi-Fi signals, Bloomberg reports. The features could include navigation via Apple Maps and photo messaging via the Messages app and could allow third-party apps to use satellite connectivity through an iOS API.
