| Changes in ZCC Telemetry Enablement Status: In Progress Event Type: Informational As a part of Zscaler’s continuous product improvement process, we are delivering Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC) Telemetry functionality to collect both telemetry and device event information, which provides reporting capabilities for customers that are not using ZDX. Customers using ZDX already have ZCC Telemetry enabled. Customers that take advantage of ZCC Telemetry functionality will have access to additional dashboards in the Client Connector Portal such as posture failures, one-time password (OTP) usage, service enabling/disabling by users, etc. Customers without ZDX or ZCC Telemetry will not have access to these dashboards. Zscaler previously sent an advisory about enabling ZCC Telemetry functionality. Continuing our commitment to listen to customer feedback, Zscaler has added controls for customers to easily opt-in or opt-out of this feature. ZCC Telemetry functionality is available with the following clients:
What is changing? For customer log tenants located in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and European Union, ZCC Telemetry will be provisioned in a disabled state. For all other customer log tenants, beginning December 12th, 2025 and continuing through March 31st, 2026, Zscaler will be gradually enabling ZCC Telemetry functionality. While ZCC Telemetry is a lighter version of ZDX, this does not enable the ZDX Admin console or associated ZDX probes. This will also not change the current user experience as the ZDX Module will not be made visible in the Zscaler Client Connector. Customers that want to enable ZCC Telemetry can do so by navigating to the Administration > Client Connector Support > App Supportability section of the Client Connector portal, and turn on the setting called “Enable ZCC Telemetry”. This can also be enabled at the App Profile level, if you require this for some users and not others. To disable ZCC Telemetry, disable it globally or at the App Profile level using the same settings mentioned above. Who is impacted? Customer tenants currently using Zscaler Client Connector that do not currently have ZCC Telemetry provisioned. When is the update scheduled? For all customers whose log tenants are located in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and European Union, beginning December 12th, 2025 and continuing through March 31st 2026, Zscaler will be gradually provisioning the ZCC Telemetry functionality in a disabled state. For all other customer log tenants this will be provisioned in an enabled state. What are my next steps? No action is required to get the default ZCC Telemetry settings based on your region. However if you would like to enable ZCC Telemetry prior to the above date, or do not wish to have ZCC Telemetry enabled, please contact Zscaler Support.
