Collection Team Training in Your Area
Fairfax County Solid Waste is committed to enhancing leaf collection services through improved operations and quality checks. As part of our quality control process, you may see collection teams in your area before and after collection. These teams are conducting additional training to ensure we maintain the highest level of service for our residents.
Did you know? Driving an automated leaf collection truck requires training and skill. Drivers must have a commercial driver’s license CDL B and learn how to drive on the wrong side of the vehicle while operating the vacuum arm.
