Airlines are ramping operations back up after the government shutdown officially came to an end, with the FAA lifting all remaining flight restrictions and carriers working to restore full schedules ahead of Thanksgiving. Delta says it has already returned to pre-shutdown levels, while holiday demand is ticking up as travelers regain confidence. Southwest is rolling out several holiday upgrades -- including expanded PreCheck Touchless ID and digital bag check -- and American is exploring new transatlantic opportunities as it eyes potential service to Dubrovnik.
