Tenn. governor ordered to halt Guard deployment in Memphis
Davidson County, Tenn., Chancellor Patricia Head Moskal paused Gov. Bill Lee's deployment of National Guard troops in Memphis, ruling that plaintiffs are likely to succeed on the merits of their claims that the deployment violates Tennessee's Military Code. The order does not apply to other state and federal law enforcement officers who are present in the city under the federally established Memphis Safe Task Force.

Frank Wetegrove, who spent 33 years in the Army and Army Reserve, is now a franchisee for Camp Bow Wow with five units. "Franchising provided that same sense of order and purpose, just in a civilian setting," Wetegrove says. "It allowed me to channel my leadership and operational experience into something that still had a proven framework but gave me the freedom to build my own team."
