Porsche debuts Cayenne Electric as most powerful model

Porsche has unveiled the 2026 Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric, with the latter boasting 1,139 horsepower and 1,106 pound-feet of torque, making it the most powerful Porsche to date. The Cayenne Turbo Electric can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds, while the base model takes 4.5 seconds. Both models feature 800-volt architecture and a 108-kWh battery, with innovative integration that lowers the vehicle's center of gravity. Deliveries are slated to begin late next summer.

Ford CEO: Tech shortage hinders repairs despite high pay
Ford Motor CEO Jim Farley says there's a significant labor shortage, noting that there are 5,000 mechanic openings at dealerships that offer salaries as high as $120,000 annually. Farley says the shortage of skilled technicians, which is already slowing auto repairs, is part of a broader issue affecting critical industries such as emergency services and trucking.
