The Bureau of Meteorology has declared a cyclone warning for Darwin as Cyclone Fina intensifies while tracking towards the Northern Territory capital.

Tropical Cyclone Fina, currently packing sustained winds of 75 kilometres per hour near its centre, is expected to cause damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall on the Top End coast today.
