Today marks five years, 1827 days, since you slipped away. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I know that you are in a better place, where you are free of the shackles that MS and cancer imposed on you, which is small comfort. But life is not the same without my best friend by my side. I miss you so much! Please watch over me until we are together again

Dec. 25, 1953 - Dec. 28, 2020
Happy Birthday, Dearie!
On what would have been your 72nd birthday. The fifth birthday I can't celebrate with you in 49 years – it will be another very difficult day. Christmas is not the same without my best friend by my side, it really hasn't gotten any easier living without you. I always thought we'd grow old together. I hope you celebrate with Mom, Dad, John, Grandma Baumann, your uncles, and friends who went before you. Please watch over me until we can be together again. I miss you so much!
I love you always and forever,
Jan
