Every day someone asks me either "Is copywriting still a good business" or whether they should go into it.
And, because giving a meaningful reply would take much more space than I have room for in a short email ... and yet I feel obligated to give them some kind of answer ...
... I am soon going to begin writing a new book to answer their concerns:
"My Life in Copywriting: From Madison Avenue to AI."
The book will cover how the freelance copywriting business has changed radically since I got my first copywriting job in the late 1970s—pre-digital and pre-AI--through today.
Now, for full disclosure….
After 4+ decades in the copywriting game, I am not 100% committed to write this book-- but I am pretty sure I will.
I do not know when the pub date will be.
But, as a Direct Response Letter subscriber, you will be notified when the book is completed, published, and available.
And of course you'll get bits and pieces of the book, as I write it, free in your regular Direct Response letter issues.
