Temple's AIRE Lab integrates research with athletics
Temple University has launched the Athletic Innovation, Research and Education Lab to integrate academic research into athletic department operations, aiming to enhance student-athlete development and program management. The lab, a collaboration between the School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management and Temple Athletics, addresses challenges from name, image and likeness compensation and transfer rules.

U. of Va. uses AI avatars as teaching assistants
The University of Virginia has introduced AI avatars as teaching assistants in its Cognitive Science-Based Learning Hub program, enabling the expansion of a cognitive science course from 40 to 120 students. The software, developed by Alpha Education, helps students compress a day's worth of learning into two hours, although courses offered through the hub do not count for university credit. Virtual internships enhance research skills, mentorship
