Superintendent Dr. Dustin Wright invites families, staff, and community members to three listening sessions in February. These informal sessions are an opportunity to ask questions, share what’s working well, and offer ideas for how City of Fairfax Schools can continue to grow and improve.

Superintendent Dr. Dustin Wright presented the FY 2027 Superintendent’s Proposed Budget at the January 5, 2026 Regular City of Fairfax School Board meeting. Additional information, including how to share public comment, is available on the City of Fairfax Schools website.

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) Superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid presented recommended boundary adjustments to the FCPS School Board on January 8, with a School Board vote scheduled for January 22.
On Saturday, January 10, City of Fairfax School Board Chair Carolyn Pitches attended the FCPS Public Hearing.

The Fairfax Academy for Communications and the Arts Musical Theatre & Actors Studio will present the Broadway musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. This production brings together student talent from across FCPS and showcases performance, technical theatre, and collaborative storytelling on stage.
