Report: Apple may postpone base iPhone 18 launch to 2027
Apple is reportedly considering a new iPhone release strategy that would see the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max launched in fall 2026, but the base iPhone 18 delayed until spring 2027, according to industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. This would create an unprecedented gap in Apple's release history, with the iPhone 17 remaining the newest standard model for about a year and a half.
