Transportation Closures Around the Area

Ramp Closures at Washington Blvd. & Columbia Pike  Starting on or about Monday, January 19, the ramps between Washington Boulevard/Rt. 27 and Columbia Pike will close. In addition to the ramp closures, there will be traffic pattern changes along Joyce Street and Columbia Pike.   Prior to these changes, travelers will notice detour signage in designated areas to help guide through the updated traffic routes.   This is in service of the federal Southern Expansion Project at Arlington National Cemetery; learn more on the project page, sign up for email updates, or contact usarmy.anc.southernexpansion@army.mil.

Weekend Closures at Crystal City and Ronald Reagan National Airport Metro Stations Rail service at Crystal City Metro station will close for 10 weekends starting on February 14 through June 2026 in service of the Crystal City East Entrance construction project. Service will resume during the week.   Additional rail work by WMATA will also close rail service at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Metro station.   Shuttles will replace trains between Pentagon City and Potomac Yard during rail closures.
