What is the Boosterthon Glow Run Program?
Our school has partnered with Booster (a fundraising company that has been impacting school communities for 25 years to fundraise at a larger scale, making our fundraising efforts simpler, more profitable, and more fun for students!) to raise funds with a pledge drive culminating in students completing laps around a track to earn those pledges.
Family & friends can pledge a flat donation or pledge per activity minute completed. ALL students get to experience the Glow Run Experience on event day and also daily with the character enrichment lessons. Each year, Booster has a brand-new character theme! This year’s theme is called Star Quest 5 and students will be learning about the following character traits: Curiosity, Courage, Teamwork, Resilience, Humility! You can watch the videos at home when you sign up for free.
How do we sign up?
Our donation site on 'mybooster.com' will go live on January 20th at 8:00am. At that time, you can create an account for each of your students and then share that account to ask for & receive pledges. It is free to sign up and every share helps our school!
Are there incentives? Yes!
Boosterthon Prizes: As a part of the Boosterthon system, students can earn prizes individually for reaching various pledge levels. These prizes will be distributed during the week with the help of parent & school volunteers.
School Wide Incentive: If we reach our $15,000, there will be a school wide reward. We don't want to spoil it yet, but it will involve Principal Astudillo and Assistant Principal Boudart.
Nightly Challenges: There are nightly challenges for each day of the campaign! Based on new pledges each day (from 8am-8am), an entire homeroom class or grade level will earn fun experiences together. Challenges vary by day.
