Dear Eric: I inherited some land from my father (who the youngest son of my husband refused to associate with). My husband has made it clear he thinks I should split my inherited land equally between the four children. I disagree. I firmly believe that if you want to be treated like family you should act like family. My father didn’t deserve this boy’s scorn, why does this boy deserve my father’s land? Am I wrong?
