Dear Glen Forest Elementary School Staff and Community,
I am thrilled to introduce myself as your new Assistant Principal at Glen Forest Elementary School! It is with great excitement that I join this wonderful school community.
I bring experience as an assistant principal from Oak Hill Elementary and Westgate Elementary, where I had the opportunity to support meaningful work that strengthened my leadership skills, deepened my commitment to relationship-building, and enhanced my instructional expertise. I am eager to bring those experiences to Glen Forest while continuing to learn and grow alongside this talented team. I am especially excited to collaborate closely with Dee Dee, Alexandra, and Ashley, as well as each of you, as we continue to make a positive and lasting impact on our students and the broader community.
My journey in education began in 2006 with Fairfax County Public Schools. I started my career as a classroom teacher at Stratford Landing and Fort Hunt Elementary Schools in Alexandria, where I discovered my passion for supporting students and fostering strong school communities. I earned my PreK–12 Administration and Supervision license through the University of Virginia as part of the Accelerated Certification Cohort. From there, I served as the Acting Assistant Principal at Virginia Run Elementary School, further solidifying my commitment to educational leadership.
Outside of school, you will often find me cheering on my sons, Jude and Benny, at the baseball field or basketball court alongside my husband, Seth. I also enjoy traveling, relaxing at Lake Anna on long weekends, and going on walks with our Golden Retriever, Caesar.
I am truly honored to join the Glen Forest staff and am excited to get to know each of you. Together, I am confident we will continue to build on the incredible work already happening here and create an environment where all students thrive. I look forward to meeting you soon and working together.
Warm Regards,
Cali Loewenberg
