THANK YOU to everyone who has signed up to be a Food For Neighbors Red Bag Donor! For this Saturday's pick up day, these are the items we most need for the pantry at this time: individual boxes of milk (plain and flavored), fruit juice boxes, granola bars, cereal cups, crackers, fruit cups, cup noodles (extra points from the kids for Maruchan brand), tuna/chicken snacks (not flavored), small pouches of tuna or chicken, travel size deodorant, bar soap. Our students DO NOT choose: Mac n cheese, oatmeal, microwave meals, peanut butter or soup.

The deadline to sign-up for this pick-up has passed, but if you would like to support the pantry as a Red Bag Donor for future days, please sign up here: Food For Neighbors Red Bag Program

Thanks to everyone who has supported the Jaguar Pantry! We’re on track to continue providing 100 weekend packs of food for students through the end of the year. We couldn’t do this without the consistent support of the community. #WeAreFC

Proposed Boundary Impacts to FCHS

FCPS has been working through a multi-year boundary assessment for the county schools, working to balance capacity, and remove attendance islands and split feeder schools. The most recent superintendent’s proposed boundary recommendations and executive summary have been added to the FCPS website. You will see that FCHS will receive additional geography in our boundary that is currently attending Justice High School. The data listed in the presentation includes capacity that references FCHS as over capacity with these changes. These are calculated off of our old building's capacity and Dr. Nowak has assured us that even with these additional students, we will be under capacity. We will be working to communicate the specific numbers shortly.
