A dividing line, at times invisible, can mean life or death for Palestinians in Gaza. The “yellow line” — partially marked on the ground with yellow barrels and concrete dividers — is closely guarded by the Israeli military, and Gaza health officials say that as of Tuesday, 77 Palestinians, including young children, have been killed for crossing it or while in its vicinity. The Israeli military had acknowledged killing 57 people around the yellow line, saying most were militants. Read more.
