Here’s a quick way to understand your hair better, something stylists use every day.

Look at the mid-lengths of your hair (not the roots, not the ends).
 
If you see short pieces sticking out randomly, like uneven “baby hairs” halfway down the strand… that’s breakage.

If you don’t see those?
Your hair is probably a lot healthier than you think.

Damage shows itself in the middle.
Dryness shows itself at the ends.
They’re completely different problems but often confused.

Breakage = heat or mechanical stress.
Dryness = lack of moisture.

Two different diagnoses. Two different fixes.
