A membrane covers your eye and connects to your eyelids, so there's an actual barrier there to prevent this from happening. Myth: Contact lenses can get stuck to your eye. Busted: This is very unlikely. Contact lenses can usually be removed easily using the method your eye doctor recommended. All it takes is practice and patience. Myth: My eyes need to take regular days off from contact lenses to "breathe"? Busted: In general, no. Unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise, you can wear your contacts every day.
