Our Mighty Mustangs have logged over 13,000 minutes in our 4th annual Read-A-Thon! This week is our final stretch, and we’re closing in on our goal of 20,000 minutes. It's not too late to REGISTER if you haven't done so already.
Keep up the hard work! We have two new fun incentives to help motivate you:
- Any student who sends 10 text messages through their dashboard to promote our fundraiser will be automatically entered into a nationwide drawing for a magical trip for four to a Walt Disney Theme Park.
- The teacher of our school’s top fundraising class will be entered into a drawing for a trip to Paris.
Looking for inspiration? The dashboard has a "share to socials link" along with links to send emails and texts. One parent (who doesn't like asking others for money) posted this note with the donation link and received over $200 in donations from friends in a day:
If you are so inclined to donate, [name] is doing a Read-A-Thon for school to support community events and classroom enrichment. He's been enthusiastically logging his reading time every day! His favorite books right now are the Investigators series, Diary of a Wimpy kid series, any books having to do with dragons, and he's recently started the Percy Jackson series. [name] says, "thanks for donating so we can have more fun activities at school."
