Two and a half years after settling in the province they had expected would become a permanent home, Tiffany Corti and her family may soon have to leave Quebec.
Corti, her husband, and her kids moved to Lévis from France in 2023. The family planned to gain status through the Programme de l’expérience québécoise (PEQ), The Gazette's Jack Wilson reports.
But Quebec closed the immigration pathway in November 2025 after freezing PEQ applications without notice in the run-up to the decision.
