Dear Eric: When I have broached conversations about having help or ideas that may make her life a little easier, it usually ends with me acquiescing to what she wants but both of us are feeling the strain. I’ve tried reaching out to her oncology team and they have done an exceptional job of trying to give my mom a reality check, but she denies their facts.
