Hey Iza,
Your course isn't the problem.
Your offer isn't broken. Your pricing isn't off. Your funnel doesn't need another tweak.
The problem is simpler - and harder to hear: People don't buy courses. They buy coaches.
I launched a high-level mastermind six months ago. Almost every single person who got on a call with me said the same thing: "I'm not here because of the program. I'm here because of you. I want to be in a small group with you. I want to be exposed to your thinking."
That was a massive reminder for me: They don't buy coaching programs. They buy coaches. They don't buy courses. They buy coaches.
If you've been wondering why your offers aren't selling, it might not be the offer.
It's how you're perceived through the sales process.
You are the product.
And if you don't realize that, you're missing something huge.
This week's episode breaks down the psychology of building a personal brand that attracts people to YOU - so your programs sell like hotcakes.
Listen now: Episode 313 | Psychology of a Personal Brand
Here's what we unpack and how to apply it immediately:
1. Amplify your quirks (vanilla doesn't sell well)
People gravitate toward you because of who you are. My friend Taki Moore never wears. Dan Martell is tech-nerdy and always wears blue t-shirts. Alex Hormozi lives in a singlet and Crocs. Your quirks-surfing, horses, gardening, whatever-make you a purple cow instead of a brown one. Amplify them, don't write them off.
2. Take a stand on a value (for and against)
What do you stand FOR? What do you stand AGAINST? Maybe you stand against 24/7 hustle and FOR lifestyle entrepreneurship. Maybe you stand against all-action and FOR embodying energetics. There's no right or wrong - but when you stand for something and against something, your personal brand starts to pop.
3. Elevate your aesthetics (fonts have feelings)
Blue sky makes videos pop. Black and white creates intrigue. Cohesive fonts, colors, and backdrops matter more than you think. People notice when you break your aesthetic. One person does crime profiling - everything is black and white with flashes of red. Even her video calls are black and white. That's on-brand.
4. Build credibility that stacks (results, character, celebrity)
Video testimonials. Written testimonials. Character endorsements. Celebrity endorsements. Results for clients. Results with brands. This is what credibility looks like, and credibility wins. People don't just buy your process - they buy proof that you get results and proof that you're different.
5. Remember: They buy coaches, not courses
If your offers aren't selling, stop tweaking the course. Start elevating how you're perceived. Your quirks, your values, your aesthetics, your credibility - that's what makes people want to work with YOU. The course is just the vehicle. You're the engine.
If your offers have been sitting there not selling and you keep thinking it's a positioning problem or a pricing problem…
It's probably a personal brand problem.
