MGuide is a newly developed digital campus map web application for the University of Michigan, created by incoming doctoral student Luna. The tool allows users to find empty classrooms, transit routes, and on-campus buildings, and to access UM services and weather information. LucidRook malware targets NGOs, universities in Taiwan
Cisco Talos has identified a new Lua-based malware called LucidRook, which is being used in spear-phishing campaigns against nongovernmental organizations and universities in Taiwan. The malware, attributed to threat group UAT-10362, employs sophisticated techniques including obfuscation, system reconnaissance and data exfiltration via FTP.
