Steven Duane Rohe, 61, died on March 30, 2026, in hospice care at Highland Park Hospital after a brave 3-year battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father Duane Rohe. He is survived by his mother Marjorie Rohe, siblings David Rohe (Kimberly), Susan Holzer (Scott), and Lynn Rohe (Jeffrey Hartgerink) as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Steve was kind, compassionate and athletic. He had an excellent work ethic which earned him the nickname "Speedy" from his many years on the Chicago trading floor. He had a great sense of humor and loved spending time outdoors in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. A private celebration of his life will occur this summer at his favorite place "up north."
