On behalf of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), I invite you to apply to participate in the annual CFR Religion and Foreign Policy Workshop. The workshop will take place in person on Wednesday, May 20, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Thursday, May 21, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at CFR’s New York headquarters.
|
Purpose: Hosted by CFR’s Religion and Foreign Policy program, this workshop offers a rare opportunity for religious leaders to engage directly with CFR experts and peers on the global issues most relevant to their communities and work. Through expert briefings, small group discussions, and access to CFR and Foreign Affairs resources, participants will gain practical insight and concrete strategies for navigating today’s geopolitical landscape— along with a national network of peers. Participation will include one hundred faith leaders from across the country.

“I am grateful to CFR for being a center of excellence in this nexus of religion and foreign policy. I was enriched by the diversity of the people convened, the themes covered, the level of candidness enabled, and the analysis and learnings.” — 2025 Religion and Foreign Policy Workshop Attendee |
