 1.  High-Income Tax Returns, Tax Year 2022

High-income tax returns tables for Tax Year 2022 are now available on SOI’s Tax Stats webpage. The 12 tables present statistics that are based on any Form 1040, U.S. Individual Income Tax Return, that was filed with adjusted gross income or expanded income greater than $200,000. Most of the data are shown for taxable and nontaxable returns, both separately and combined. The tables also feature high-income, nontaxable returns (HINTs) and the reason for nontaxability, which is based on the following tax concepts: the U.S. income tax concept (odd-numbered tables) and the worldwide income tax concept (even-numbered tables).
