Mantua PTA: You Made Us Feel Like Rock Stars!
We want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our incredible PTA for your generosity of time, creativity, and thoughtful gifts during Staff Appreciation Week. The “rock star” theme truly made our staff feel celebrated and appreciated all week long! Each day’s celebration seemed even better than the last, and we are so grateful for the kindness and support shown to our staff.
We appreciate all of our PTA volunteers for the many hours they spend preparing for events and celebrations. Your time and efforts have a tremendous impact on our school's culture!
Weekly Staff Spotlight
Staff Spotlight is our way to recognize Mantua's incredible staff! Each week, we recognize a group of staff members. Check them out on Mantua ES Instagram. This coming week's featured staff members are our Family Liaison, Multilingual Learner staff, and Instructional Leaders: Regi Incer, Lindsay Knoll, Bethany Farrell, Jackie Cordiner, and Kathy Van Dyke.
Please use the Spotlight Submission Form to share a positive message with them. We will share the messages with them at the end of next week.

FCPS Wednesday Early Release
As a reminder, FCPS elementary schools will have Elementary School Limited Early Release Wednesdays. The goal is to provide elementary teachers with the necessary planning time and professional development in order to deliver high-quality, personalized instruction while staying current with research-based best instructional practices.
Mantua ES, as a Woodson Pyramid elementary school, will hold it’s last Early Release Wednesday for the year on May 13th. Dismissal is at 1:05pm.

Critical: It is important that you communicate with us your students' dismissal plan for Early Release Wednesdays. Ensure the method is accurate in PUP for that day.
2026-2027 Family Input for Class Placement
Thank you for taking the time to share input about your child’s learning needs. This information, along with teacher recommendations and school-based data, helps guide our class placement process.
We are fortunate to have a strong and dedicated staff, and we ask that specific teacher names not be included on this form as we are unable to honor individual staff requests.
Our administration and teacher teams carefully review each submission as we work to create balanced classrooms and the best possible learning environment for every student. While all input is thoughtfully considered, we cannot guarantee specific requests.
Please submit your input here to ensure your feedback is included in the placement process. Thank you for your partnership and support.
Mantua PTA Talent Show
You won’t want to miss the amazing talent of our students and community, showcased at our annual PTA Talent Show! This is such a unique opportunity to see staff, students and families as they perform and make us laugh. The Talent Show will begin at 5pm on Saturday, May 9 and will be held in the gym.

Mantua PTA Spring Dance

Join us for a fun night of dancing, games, face painting, and a photo booth! Concessions available for purchase, including Kona Ice!
The theme is 90's Neon Glow: Wear your brightest colors!!

Frost Bingo Night
Join us for one of Frost MS’s favorite traditions! It’s going to be a huge night of games, prizes, and community fun.
