Last week, our halls truly bloomed with gratitude as we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week at Forestville Elementary School—and what a joyful, heart‑filled week it was! From the smiles on our teachers’ faces to the thoughtful moments shared throughout the week, it was such a meaningful opportunity to honor the incredible educators who nurture, inspire, and help our Cardinals grow every single day.
This special celebration would not have been possible without the dedication and creativity of our PTA Teacher Appreciation Week Chair Neeharika R. and her amazing committee of volunteers. Their hard work brought our “Bloom and Grow” theme to life and ensured that our teachers felt the appreciation they so richly deserve. We truly could not have celebrated our teachers last week without their time, energy, and thoughtful planning—thank you for making it so memorable!
I also want to give a heartfelt shout‑out to our phenomenal Yearbook Editor, Stephanie G.. Behind the scenes, she has been carefully selecting photos, tracking down missing moments, and weaving together the story of this school year into a beautiful keepsake. Thanks to her dedication and attention to detail, our students will soon have a yearbook they can treasure for years to come—a snapshot of friendships, achievements, and memories made as Forestville Cardinals.
Moments like these remind me how special our Forestville community truly is. When families, volunteers, and staff come together, we create something wonderful for our children. Thank you to everyone who contributed, volunteered, and supported our PTA this year. Your involvement makes a lasting difference.
We are pleased to share the PTA Nominating Committee’s slate of officers for the 2026–2027 school year, which will be presented for a vote at our final General Membership Meeting:
Monday, May 18, 2026 7:00 PM Forestville Elementary School
All current PTA members in attendance will have the opportunity to vote.
Please plan to join us as we reflect on the impact of this year’s work, thank our volunteers, and look ahead to another great year supporting the Forestville community. Your voice and participation matter.
