I want to share 3 of my all time favorite bluegrass guitar licks with you today.
These are a series of what are commonly referred to as "floating licks"
A floating lick is just a phrase that makes deliberate use of open strings.
When these are played on a flat picked acoustic guitar in a bluegrass tune.........it gives your leads a really cool melodic and resonate sound.
In other words..........these licks just sound awesome! |
