The first loaf came out a bit dense but the second one had a really nice crumb and the crust was perfect. I've been feeding the starter every day now and it's got that tangy smell that tells you it's healthy. My kitchen counter is basically a science lab at this point with jars everywhere. Anyway I'll bring you a loaf next time we meet up.

Also I wanted to ask about that hiking trail you mentioned near Mount Rainier. We're planning a weekend trip next month and I remember you saying it was a moderate difficulty with amazing views. I finished reading that novel you lent me last week and I really enjoyed it. The character development was strong especially the way the author handled the relationship between the two main characters. Some of the plot twists caught me off guard which doesn't happen often. On another note we finally got around to reorganizing the garage and it feels like a completely different space now.
