Hey, I was just thinking about what you mentioned earlier. I finally tried that new recipe for roasted vegetables with tahini dressing and it turned out way better than I expected. The trick was roasting everything at a higher temperature so they got those nice caramelized edges. My family actually asked for seconds which never happens. I also started that book you recommended last week and I can see why you were so into it. The writing style is really compelling and I already stayed up way too late reading last night. I need to get more sleep but the story just pulls you in. Let me know if you have any other recommendations or if you want to swap notes on that recipe sometime. I think I might try adding some chickpeas next time for extra texture.

Anyway hope your week is going well so far. I should probably get back to my to-do list but wanted to share that small victory in the kitchen. Talk soon.

I was telling my neighbor about the community garden plot I finally got assigned. It's a small space behind the library with decent soil and good afternoon sun. I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm excited to try growing tomatoes and maybe some basil. She gave me some starter tips about companion planting which sounded interesting. I also signed up for that pottery class at the community center that starts next month. It's once a week in the evening and they provide all the materials. I've always wanted to try working with clay. My friend took a similar class last year and made some really nice mugs and bowls. I'm hoping I can pick it up quickly. The instructor has been teaching there for years and has a great reputation.

Let me know if you've ever tried either of those things. I could use any advice you might have. Hope you're having a good week so far.
