We were trying to figure out if next Tuesday works but then Jenna mentioned she has that thing until 3pm and honestly it just got complicated from there. Oh wow I completely forgot about that book you recommended last month. I finally picked it up over the weekend and started reading it on Sunday afternoon and honestly I could not put it down. The way the author describes the setting just pulls you right in and the characters feel so real it is almost strange. I am about halfway through now and I keep thinking about what is going to happen next. There is this one chapter that really got me thinking about how we make decisions based on things we do not even realize are influencing us. Anyway I am glad you suggested it because I probably would have scrolled right past it otherwise.

I will let you know when I finish it and we can actually talk about it properly because I have a few theories about the ending that I want to run by you. The pacing is really something else too. Some chapters are quick and punchy and then others take their time letting the atmosphere sink in. I think that is why it works so well. It keeps you guessing about what kind of experience you are going to get next. Have you read anything else by the same author or was this your first one? I might look into their other work if this one sticks the landing.
