Managing noise and vibration risk courses

Our training courses have been designed by experts to help organisations assess, control and manage the risks associated with vibration and noise exposure in the workplace, improving health and safety performance.

Both are BEING held at HSE's Science and Research centre in Buxton.

HAVS

Hand-arm vibration: Management in the workplace

16 June

This practical course introduces how effective management of hand-arm vibration (HAV) can reduce the risk of injury and long-term ill health by ensuring appropriate assessment, control and monitoring of workplace exposures.

Covering key duties under the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005, delegates will learn recognised HSE approaches and gain practical skills to assess HAV risks, apply control measures and support health surveillance.

Noise

Noise: Management of exposure in the workplace

17 June

Effective control of workplace noise is essential for protecting workers from hearing damage and maintaining a safe working environment.

Delegates will gain practical skills to identify noise hazards, assess exposure levels, apply control measures and support health surveillance to prevent and monitor noise-induced hearing loss.
