EDITOR'S NOTE

It took me a few weeks, but I finally caved over Memorial Day Weekend and bought the infamous Lands’ End tote. I chose the medium size, in the burgundy, with the zip top and regular-length handles. I also added my initials and when I unboxed it, I immediately fell in love. It’s so spacious — to the point that it feels almost empty, yet I’ve already loaded all of my necessities into it. I can easily add in a big water bottle and book for park days. Here are a couple more things I’m looking to buy for it:

• A fidget keychain that’ll keep my hands occupied on subway platforms.

• This enamel pin that needs no explanation.

• An insert that’ll help me further organize whatever else I end up dumping into it.
