Hi there, I was reading your message about the trail conditions for Eagle Peak. I checked the park service updates and they said the north ridge is still icy in the morning, but the south approach is clear. We should aim for a start time around 9 AM to avoid the worst of the mud. I have the map with the alternate route marked. Let me know if you want to bring extra poles for the steeper sections. Also, the weather looks good for Saturday, partly cloudy with no rain expected.
