Hey, just got your message about the trail map. I think the best route is actually the one that starts behind the old ranger station. It's a bit overgrown but cuts off about half a mile. Let me know if you want to meet up there on Saturday. I can bring the compass and the portable stove. We should check the weather tonight though, just to be safe. A storm rolled in quickly last time we were up there. Anyway, hope you're doing well. Talk soon. Oh, and I finally fixed that zipper on the tent. It should be good as new. I tested it in the backyard last night and it held up perfectly. Let's plan the next camping trip soon. I found a great spot near the river with lots of shade.

I finally got around to planting those bulbs you gave me. The soil was a bit rocky near the back fence, so I mixed in some compost. I think they'll do well there. It gets plenty of afternoon sun. I also put down some mulch to keep the moisture in. Let's hope the squirrels don't dig them up. I saw a few of them running along the fence line yesterday. I might need to get a little netting or something to protect the beds. Anyway, thanks again for the flowers. They'll look great in the spring. Say hi to everyone for me. I also started working on that wooden bench we talked about. I found some nice reclaimed wood at the local shop. It should be ready by next weekend.
