I was just thinking about what you said regarding the garden project. Honestly, I think the raised beds would work better along the south side of the yard where they'd get more sunlight throughout the day. My neighbor built something similar last spring and he said the extra hours of direct light made a huge difference for his tomatoes and peppers. We could probably get the lumber and soil delivered if we order online, and then assemble everything over a weekend. I'm happy to help with the digging and setup if you need an extra pair of hands. Just let me know what weekend works best for you. Also, I found a good video on building self-watering inserts that might be worth watching before we start. Let's plan it out soon so we have everything ready before the season really takes off.

I finally tried that hiking trail you recommended last weekend. The views from the ridge were absolutely worth the climb, even though my legs were sore for two days afterward. We started early in the morning and had the trail mostly to ourselves until around noon when more people started showing up. I packed sandwiches and plenty of water, and we stopped at the lookout point about halfway up for a break. The wildflowers along the upper section were still blooming, which was a nice surprise. I think next time I'll bring a better camera because my phone photos didn't really capture how beautiful it was. Thanks again for the suggestion — I'd definitely go back and try the longer loop you mentioned. Let me know if you want to join next time.
