Hey! I remember you mentioned you were looking into getting a new bookshelf. I just put together one from that local woodworking co-op and it turned out amazing. The quality is way better than those flat-pack ones from the big box stores. I found that if you go on a weekday morning, there's almost nobody there and the owner has time to walk you through the different types of wood. I ended up going with reclaimed oak because it had so much character. The whole process was surprisingly relaxing, just measuring, sanding, and seeing it come together piece by piece.
