Ford tests sub-$30K EVs to boost market

Ford has begun real-world testing of its Universal Electric Vehicle project, aiming to produce sub-$30,000 electric vehicles to revive demand after the expiration of the $7,500 federal tax credit. The first vehicle, an all-electric midsize pickup, is set to launch in 2027. Ford's strategy focuses on improving battery efficiency through aerodynamics and weight reduction to make EVs more affordable.

Hey Google! Gemini fine-tunes TV picture, audio with voice commands
Google TV has introduced a feature that lets users adjust audio and picture settings with natural-language voice commands via Gemini. The feature, currently available only on select TCL TVs in the US, enables users to set brightness, contrast and picture mode and troubleshoot issues like dark screens or unclear dialogue without using a remote.
