Dear Powell Families,
It is hard to believe that we have reached the last full week of school. As I reflect on this year, I am incredibly grateful for the partnership, support, and commitment of our students, staff, and families. Together, we have celebrated successes, overcome challenges, and continued building our One Powell community.
While this week marks our final full week of instruction, we are also looking ahead to an exciting final week of school. Students and staff will be participating in a variety of end-of-year celebrations and events, including grade-level promotion ceremonies, classroom celebrations, and opportunities to reflect on the learning and growth that has taken place throughout the year.
As we enter these final days, we encourage students to continue demonstrating our Powell values by being Kind, Inclusive, Diligent, and Safe. Learning will continue through the last day of school, and we look forward to making these final moments together meaningful and memorable.
A few reminders as we close out the year:
- Please review communications from your child's teacher regarding any upcoming classroom events or celebrations.
- Be sure to check the Lost and Found. Any unclaimed items will be donated after the school year ends.
- If your child has library books, technology devices, or other school materials that need to be returned, please do so as soon as possible.
- Continue to monitor school communications for reminders regarding promotion ceremonies, and report cards.
We are excited to celebrate our students and all they have accomplished this year. Thank you for being such an important part of the Powell community. We look forward to finishing the year strong and celebrating with our students during these final days.
