**The End-of-Year Block Party is Cancelled!**
Principals' Message
Hello White Oaks Community,
Welcome to the final Eagle Express of the school year! It has been a phenomenal year filled with an incredible number of positive accomplishments. Our students have shown tremendous character, growth, and determination throughout the year, and we are immensely proud of the hard work they have exhibited. We are deeply grateful to each of you for partnering with us and allowing us the opportunity to work with your children every day.
This past week was packed with end-of-the-year activities, with a special focus on the students preparing to transition into new learning environments. On Tuesday and Thursday, we had the joy of welcoming back our former students who are graduating from Robinson Secondary School and Lake Braddock Secondary School. These events are always incredibly inspirational, and we are so proud of our alumni as they embark on their future endeavors. Meanwhile, Pioneer Day and the Lake Braddock visit were two major highlights for our sixth graders as they enjoyed their final days of elementary school, while the rest of our grade levels wrapped up the year with their own well-deserved celebrations. It has truly been a wonderful year that is well worth celebrating.
As we head into the break, we hope everyone has a restful and relaxing summer filled with fun adventures. White Oaks is hoping to host three Summer Cookouts in July, tentatively planned for the 15th, 22nd, and 29th, and we will share finalized details with the community as soon as they are locked in. Additionally, if you are looking for ways to support your student academically over the break, please visit the Summer Learning Resources webpage. This site features materials organized by grade level and aligned with this year's curriculum, allowing families to easily review concepts, practice skills, or explore new ideas at home. Additional resources will continue to be added throughout June, and families can access these materials at any time.
Thank you for the amazing year and have a great summer!
Melanie, Neena, & Josh

Summer sites will continue to be added, so please check the Summer Food webpage regularly for updates.
Student Testing Results Coming Soon
Through June, you will receive your child’s spring assessment results. If you aren’t sure what assessments your child took this year, you can view a list of tests by grade level on the FCPS website.
Most scores are available in SIS ParentVUE. Visit FCPS’ website for additional information about how test results are reported to families.
Websites for each test provide report translations and help with understanding test results. Please contact our front office with any testing questions or for additional information about how our school and teachers use test results to support student success.
