Message from Mantua Admin

Dear Mantua Families,

Our final full week was a flurry of activity! From Field Day water games to Glow Days, from the Spring Chorus and Kindergarten concerts to end-of-year classroom parties, our week was a joyous celebration of the milestones we have reached this year. We've shared only a few photos here, but be sure to follow us on Instagram, @mantuaelementaryschool, for more pictures and videos!

This will be our final newsletter of the 2025–2026 school year. We wish we had the time and space each week to share every triumph, laugh, heartwarming story, amazing student project, and milestone achieved by our students. They have made tremendous strides in both learning and growth this year, and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of them.

Thank you for entrusting your precious children to us each day. We work hard to make the most of every opportunity to support them and help them thrive. Thank you to our incredible teachers and support staff for their unwavering dedication and tremendous work throughout the year. And thank you to our Mantua families for partnering with us to help each child reach their full potential.

Please remember that *Wednesday, June 17, is the last day of school and a two-hour early release day. Students will be dismissed at 2:05 p.m.

We hope you all have a wonderful, sun-filled summer, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on August 24!

Take good care,

Ms. Shannon, Mrs. Vaughan, and Ms. Maurer

Patrol Picnic

We extend a special thanks to our 6th grade patrols who are so important to arrivals and dismissals to over 900 students each day.  Ms. Bruining and Mr. Collins planned a fun-filled picnic for our patrols to celebrate the tremendous work they’ve done this year!

6th grade Promotion Ceremony

The 6th grade promotion ceremony will begin promptly at 11am on Monday, June 15th at the Woodson HS theater near door 15 and door 16.  Details were sent home in your child’s Tuesday folder and also sent via enotify.  We welcome parents and family members to join us for this celebration of the accomplishments of our rising 7th graders!

Laptop and Charger Return

Laptop collection will be June 12th and 15th and will be directed by teachers.  Mantua’s new policy is to charge a laptop charger replacement fee if your child has lost their charger during the year.  Please make every effort to gather these items and, if your child has misplaced their charger, pay the fee of $29 in the Mantua MySchoolBucks store .  We thank you for your partnership in caring for school property this year.

FROST MIDDLE SCHOOL PTA General Membership Meeting & Elections (Virtual)

Meeting Link to RSVP: Event Link

Monday, June 15, 2026 6:30–7:30 PM

As we close out another year at Frost, we hope you’ll join us to reflect on what’s made this community special—and to help shape what comes next.

This meeting includes elections for the 2026–2027 PTA Board. Elections will take place during the meeting with self-nominations from the floor.

Here’s the honest part: It sounds like a lot. It isn’t.

No one walks in knowing everything. The work is shared, the time commitment is manageable, and you won’t be on your own!

More importantly—this is how the events your kids remember actually happen. Bingo Night. Frost Festival. Teacher Appreciation. 8th grade celebrations. They don’t run without parents stepping up.

Middle school is a short window. This is one of the easiest ways to stay connected, stay informed, and have a voice in it. We especially encourage rising 7th grade parents to get involved now.

Important: To attend and vote, you must be a PTA member. Membership for the 2025-2026 year end is only $5 and directly supports Frost programs. Please sign up today if you haven't already: PTA Sign-up

If you’re even slightly considering a role, please reach out ahead of time: eb@frostmspta.org
