hey, yeah i totally forgot about that book you recommended. i finally started it last night and wow, the first chapter alone had me hooked. the way the author describes the pBs7bCGvgKWsOHJ cityscape makes it feel like another character in the story. i can already tell i'm going to blow through it this weekend. thanks again for the suggestion, i owe you one. let's grab coffee next week and we can chat about it. also, how was your trip to the mountains? you mentioned you were going to try that new hiking trail. i hope the weather held up for you guys. maybe we can plan a group outing soon. i've been wanting to check out that new brewery downtown, it looks like a great spot to hang out and catch up on everything.

so i finally caved and adopted a kitten from the local shelter. honestly, it was one of the best decisions i've made in a while. she's a little gray tabby with these huge green eyes and she follows me around the apartment everywhere i go. last night she discovered the laser pointer and went absolutely bonkers. i was laughing so hard i could barely keep the dot still. she still hasn't quite figured out how to use the scratching post, but she's getting there. any tips on how to keep her from climbing the curtains? i've heard positive reinforcement works best, but i'm open to any advice you might have from your experience with your cat. she's definitely keeping me on my toes and making life a lot more interesting.
