Hey! Totally forgot to tell you, I tried that sourdough starter recipe you sent. It actually worked! The first few days I thought I killed it because it smelled like acetone, but I read that's normal. Fed it some rye flour and it perked right up. Baked my first loaf last weekend. The crumb was a bit dense but the crust was incredible. My neighbor gave me some of her discard recipe for crackers, and those were even easier. Anyway, just wanted to share because I know you've been baking for years. Thanks for the tip on the kitchen scale too, absolute game changer. Let me know if you want me to save you a starter next time I feed it! Happy to drop it off. Hope you're doing well! ImAOAhe6zIwCd5a Talk soon.

I finally started reorganizing the garage this weekend and man, what a rabbit hole. Found three identical tape measures and a hammer I thought I lost years ago. I’m trying to set up a proper workbench area because all those little home projects keep piling up. The kids’ bikes alone take up half the floor space. I picked up some wall-mounted racks for the garden tools, which should free up a ton of room. Still debating whether to get a pegboard or just go with some heavy-duty shelves. It’s one of those jobs that’s going to look worse before it looks better, but I’m committed now. No more tripping over the leaf blower every time I pull the car in. Also thinking about adding some lighting out there because the single bulb just doesn't cut it once the sun goes down. A friend recommended those LED linkable shop lights, so I might grab a few of those next time I'm out. Should make working on projects way easier.
