I think the raised beds should be built with cedar because it resists rot naturally. We can get the lumber from that supplier on Elm Street. Let me know if you want me to draw a quick plan with dimensions. Also, I found a great way to line the bottom with hardware cloth to keep voles out without blocking drainage. That should give us a long-lasting garden setup for years.

Regarding the reunion venue, I checked out the community center on Maple. It has a large kitchen and plenty of parking. The rental includes tables and chairs, which saves us a lot. I think Saturday September 12th works best since most people are free that weekend. Let's confirm with Aunt Carol before we book. Also, we should assign a few people to bring snacks and drinks.
