Learn about the Faculty Loan Repayment Program and how to apply during tomorrow's webinar.

Through this program, you could receive up to $40,000 to help pay down your health professions education loan debt. In return, you commit to a two-year (full-time or part-time) faculty appointment at an eligible health professions school.

The application is open now through Thursday, July 9, at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Are You Eligible?

You are a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized), U.S. National or Lawful Permanent Resident.
You come from an economically or geographically vulnerable background.
You have earned a degree or certification in an eligible health profession.
You will begin employment as faculty at an eligible health professions school by July 9 and have a contract for at least two years.

Application Tip: We understand that employment contract terms vary by institution. If your employer does not issue two‑year contracts, your eligible health professions school may provide a letter on official letterhead confirming its intent to employ you in a faculty role for at least two years (e.g., July 9, 2026–July 9, 2028). This letter should be uploaded as a supporting document in your application.

To start your application, you must first set up an account in My BHW. My BHW requires multifactor authentication (MFA), which protects your account from fraud and keeps your personal information secure.

With MFA, you must use the Google Authenticator app on your mobile phone or tablet each time you log in. Follow the Quick Start Guide to set up your MFA authentication.
